✨ September is the ninth month of the year and the first month of meteorological autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. Its name derives from the Latin septem (seven), as it was the seventh month in the early Roman calendar before January and February were added. September marks the transition from summer's heat to autumn's cool — and in Guadalajara, it's one of the most festive months of the year, with Independence Day celebrations taking over the city.
