16 Million Tourists in Jalisco During the First Half of 2024
Thanks to a tourism promotion strategy, the state government has positioned the main beach, city and Magical Town destinations internationally . In the first half of 2019, the influx of visitors totaled 13 million 188 thousand tourists , while in the same period of 2024 it totaled 16 million 81 thousand visitors , which represents an increase of 21.9%.

Hot Sale 2024 increased 15.3% vs 2023
4 out of 10 buyers used credit or debit cards. 8 out of 10 buyers chose home delivery as a delivery method , and the option to pick up at a pick-up point increased. 8% of users purchased during the pre-sale carried out by Mercado Pago on May 15. Fashion was the most purchased category with 35%, followed by personal care and beauty with 21%, computers, tablets and mobile phones with 19%, and finally, small appliances such as coffee makers, toasters, fryers, with 17 percent.

Despite their exceptional quality, it is possible to distinguish counterfeit G5 banknotes through certain checks:
👉 Examine the relief: Authentic banknotes have a relief that is palpable to the touch.
👉 Use backlight: When you hold the bill up to a backlight source, you should notice watermarks, micro-printed threads, and a clear window.
👉 Observe the 3D and dynamic thread: These threads show a change in color and exhibit movement when the bill is rotated.
👉 Check the multicolor denomination: The value of the bill must change its color when moved.

ZMG Housing Prices Increasing 10.12%
During 2023, housing prices in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone (ZMG) registered an increase at an annual rate of 10.12%.

New Highway GDL to PV to be completed in July 2024
The travel time on the shorter route Guadalajara/Puerto Vallarta will decrease from 5 hours currently to only 2 hours and 45 minutes. Construction is expected to be completed in July 2024, after 10 years delay.
