TWIG (ThisWeekinGuadalajara.com) invites all artists to submit their design vision of Guadalajara.
The winner will become TWIG's emblem of beautiful Guadalajara. It will be used for events and prints on various items such as T-shirts, caps, posters, mugs, etc...
We especially invite students studying graphic design or a similar area to create a logo in both English/Spanish languages that refers to the beauty & uniqueness of Guadalajara, its past, present and/or future. However, the contest is open to all interested individuals.

José Clemente Orozco . major manufacturer of textiles, electronics, chemicals . agriculture . vitamin T (tacos, tequila, tepache, torta ahogada, tostadas, tamales y tejuino) .

Participants may send their graphic designs from August 1st until August 31st, 2022 at 11:59 PM (Mexican Central Time).

Send your designs to thisweekinguadalajara@gmail.com, with your name, age and contact information. Receipt will be acknowledged in a maximum of five days.

Files should be no larger than 1 MB with a transparent background in PNG or JPG.

The winner will be required to resubmit their entry as an editable file, and will release the rights to the entry, including, but not limited to, reproduction, distribution, monetization and modification.

Entries from minors must include a consent statement from parents or legal guardians.

Entries containing offensive or discriminatory language or images will be disqualified.

A jury of all TWIG's team members will select the five winning entries.

The five winning entries will be submitted to all habitants and visitors of Guadalajara who will have the whole month of September to vote for the winning entries. The people's decision will be final and announced on October 1st.

Attention will be paid to: 1/ The creativity and unique vision in relevance of the symbols, images or typography. 2/ Reference to historical, social, geographic, cultural, economic or other ties that are important to Guadalajara.

The obligatory use of both languages, Spanish and English, if the logo includes text.

Positive messages that highlight what makes Guadalajara one of the best cosmopolite cities in the world.
